three face dope charges

Three Woodstock residents face drug charges after police searched a home on James St. The Woodstock police drug enforcement unit seized oxycodone and marijuana, along with an undisclosed amount of cash. A 25-year-old man is charged with two counts of trafficking and one count each of possession and possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of probation. A 29-year-old woman is charged with possession and a 30-year-old woman is charged with one count of trafficking and possession. The value of drugs and cash seized is estimated at $2,300.

copper wire stolen

A London man faces charges after officers spotted a suspect taking almost 23 kilograms of copper wire from a home. The officers were on patrol in the area of Fanshawe Park Rd. W. and Adelaide St. N. when they saw a man remove the wire being stored beside a home, police said. The suspect was confronted and arrested. The 30-year-old man is charged with theft under $5,000 and trespassing at night.
